Who am I?
I have a PhD in cognitive psychology and about 17 published research articles (vita). My theory of different types of knowledge was published in the Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology.
I was also a professor and spent many years teaching college students how to understand the science of psychology and to be good experimenters. My problems-first method is a fusion of my research and my teaching experiences.
In high school, I finished 7th in the Michigan Mathematics Prize Completition, a statewide test for high school students. In college, I finished 175th on the Putnam exam, a nationwise test for college students. My GRE scores for math were 850 and 830.
I have done math enrichment for select third- and sixth-graders, a class of 5th-graders, and my daughters.
