I have not yet used these problems.
Aldus and the Magic Divider:
Aldus has 1 apple. He wants to split this apple evenly between 2 children. Fortunately, he has a magic machine. If you put in an apple, it divides the apple into ten equal parts.
What does Aldus do?
How many tenths of an apple does each child get?
How much apple does each child get? Say your answer in decimal format.

1 apple and 5 children.
More Decimals: Continuing the Magic
Aldus has 1 apple. He has to divide it evenly among 100 children. Fortunately, Aldus's magic machine divides anything into ten parts. So if you put a tenth of an apple into the machine, you will get a tenth of a tenth, or a hundredth.
How many tenths and hundredths of an apple does each child get?
How much apple does each child get? Say your answer in decimal format.
